As I sit, the waves crash in. The gentle wind blows against my face. Sand brushes gently. Food releases me from my stitch. Take a sip and eat. Light up a cigarette and observe the waves crash in.

Slowly meandering my way to nowhere in particular. The breeze eases behind me, moving me onwards. The ease of nicotine smooths me as I journey onwards.

As I light up another cigarette I trip over the curb, in the center of the road. The world continues around me. I continue not looking where I'm going, finding nothing and feeling relieved with this.

I wonder up my driveway and wounder if I remembered my keys. A quick check and I am relieved. Sit and relax. Empty my shoes of sand and begin to re wounder and think. Begin to write. Write of the journey. Write of her.

Best enjoyed with a little bit of Underworld (The band) or any british progesive dance music. Thanks to her, for partly inspiring partly causing this poem.

Not for a moment did i suppose myself actually dead. Such a supposition, not withstanding what we read in fiction, is altogether inconsistent with real existance.
